Arria takes its name from the woman who served as President of Cantina Cincinnato in 1987, the year this sparkling wine was first produced. At the time, it was a visionary and pioneering decision: producing a sparkling wine in Lazio - particularly from an indigenous grape variety such as Bellone - it required both courage and foresight, well ahead of the international boom in Italian sparkling wines of the 1990s and 2000s.
Arria is made from Bellone grapes grown on the volcanic hills of Cori and is the result of extensive research and experimentation, with the aim of expressing the territory’s identity, freshness, and finesse.
