With the beginnig of October the harvest 2018 comes to end.
This year the harvesting has been conditioned by the weather. In the hills of Latina, the varietion of long period of hot and unexpected storm created a wet heat weather.
This type of weatehr has to developed the downy mildew in the vineyards.
In the middel of august, in Cori, the hail has dameged several areas of the vineyards.
At the ending of Augut the harvesting start with the Bellone a white grapes and succesively the other grapes like Malvasia del Lazio and Greco; at the beginning of september the picking continue with Nero Buono, Cesanese and Motepulciano.
